Really just depends on what you want, they both offer different things. Br has the option of grinding and simpler map design, Cq doesn't let you grind, has much more gimmicks in the map design and is really hard. Personally, I would say Br if you're still getting into FE and Cq if you want a challenge and taste of the older games.
Remember that you can get the other as a download at a lower price. If you're not into BR and would prefer the things in conquest you can always just get it that way. It's not ideal i suppose but it's something to take into account. Birthright is much easier so it will help you learn the new mechanics and it's much more like awakening if that means anything.
Go for Awakening, those games both suck. I would try one of them just to see if you agree with me or not. I personally just dislike Fates becuase the characters didn’t stick out to me. It also sucks how you have to pay for a different path. In general I would play awakening if you already haven’t, or Echoes.
I planned to go for Fate first then awakening and finish with echo
Faxgod, Awakening is an excellent game and is well worth your money. If I could go back in time I would have probably never purchased Fates. Don’t get me wrong, Fates is still enjoyable because it is a Fire Emblem game, but not worth its price.
touché
Awakening first isn't a poor idea (though neither is birthright) but DO NOT get echoes first. It has drastically different mechanics than the rest and is much more unforgiving to new players than even conquest. Echoes is amazing but if you have never played a fire emblem get either BR or awakening then get Echoes at a later date. Personally i enjoyed fates more than awakening, the 3 different paths felt like totally different games to me, making the extra paths at a low price worth it. I suppose that's just my opinion though, you could do some research like looking at the characters and such to see which one seems more interesting and decide from there.
this guy know my plan
