How do you promote units in this game? Like I started playing again to finish it and I just remembered that I have no idea how to change a characters class. ALSO, what classes do you guys recommend for the villagers (Tobin, Kliff, etc..)? I know that I should probably google this but I’m 2 lazy.
Celica doesn’t need light magic, there’s so many clerics to go around. She already has practically every black magic spell in the game.
Also Tatiana joining late doesn’t change the fact that she’s good and incredibly useful.
For the first one, sure but then you cant say that she would be a better cleric than Genny, because she only learns recover. The second is also true, but you can't really say "I'm going to use Tatiana as my healer instead of Silque or Faye" Because act 1 and 3 are going to be very hard without a healer. There's really no competition between her and Genny anyway, since they are in seperate parties.
Why does saying “ use Tatiana ” = Bench Silque ? You should be using both. I never said not to use her and you get unlimited deployment slots for every map but the final anyway. Of course silque is going to be your primary healer on Alms route for the majority of the game, Tatiana is just there to make sure you have access to some good spells that you can get a lot of use from.
yeah i agree. Benching some units can still make sense though, even if there are infinite deployment slots, since they might take exp away from better units or die too quickly and are just a risk (Nomah)
I actually missed Nomah my first playthrough. He seemed like he’s just a meme unit and nothing more. Not every grandpa can be as strong as Mycen or Jagen I suppose.
It's not like you lost anything valuable.
Lmao, he was on par with my Boey when I recruited him in the endgame ( I found out he was playable after beating the game). He doesn’t learn any good spells or anything? I swear he’s gotta have something
His spell list isn't bad, but he basically has every spell Boey learns already built into him. If you have used him, Boey will probably have all of his spells learned by then though. Nomah's only real redeeming factor is being a staffbot and having access to 1-3 range, so he can do some chip damage.
You forgot his best quality , his amazing beard.
You can't argue with that.
What do you think?
