Etymology

In Norse mythology, Élivágar (Ice Waves) are eleven rivers that existed in Ginnungagap at the beginning of the world. The Élivágar also figure in the origin of Ymir, the first giant formed from the poison that dripped from the rivers.

The eleven rivers are Fjorm, Fimbulthul, Svöl, Gunnthrá, Slidr, Hríd, Sylgr, Ylgr, Víd, Leiptr, and Gjöll.

Trivia

• Élivágar is the only Emblem Weapon that is playable in Engage, but not in its original game as the tome is locked to Veronica's Pre-Book VI appearances as an enemy-only unit.
