The Aegis Shield is a shield that debuts in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Contents
Overview[]
It is a Hero's Relic associated with the Crest of Fraldarius.
The Shield is acquired upon completing Felix's paralogue while saving every villager. The shield increases protection by six and resilience by three. When someone with the Crest of Fraldarius is using it, it also grants the effects of Pavise and Aegis. This makes it well worth saving every villager, however, the trade-off is the shield has six weight slowing the user down quite a bit. To compensate, the unit can unequip the shield if speed is a higher priority in a certain situation, then re-equip it afterward. Also, if the unit trains their Heavy Armor skill, they can learn the Weight -3 ability at C and Weight -5 ability at A+ to mitigate the AS penalty.

- In Warriors: Three Hopes, Sothis calls the Aegis Shield "The Steadfast".
