“If you're staying, then I will as well. I won't allow you to go off alone and commit suicide.”
—Alen talking to Lance in a support conversation.

Alen (アレン Aren, also translated as Alan or Allen in the fan translation) is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Binding Blade. He is part of a family that has served House Pherae for a long time and, along with Lance, serves and travels with Roy to take back the lands annexed by Bern. He is the more reckless out of the two Pheraen cavaliers.

He makes a brief cameo appearance in Chapter 17 of the Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi manga.

Overall

Alen will be a fast, mounted tank with his extremely high HP and good defense, speed, and luck. He has nice Attack and skill to boot, though of the two starting cavaliers, he will take more training to start doubling enemies consisttently. In Hard mode, he is one of your best units to train, especially for his supports with Roy and Lance. Using him and Lance as a pair will make them a powerful duo, rivaling up as one of the best units in the game.

Quotes
