Ally Units (Sometimes Allied Units) are units who appear in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. These are not to be mistaken with Player Units, as these units are controlled by the computer rather than the human. Ally Units will fight the Enemy Units alongside the Player Units. However, relying on Ally Units may not be a good idea, as they do not get experience, and may "rob" your characters of experience. Ally Units are usually represented by the color yellow; A yellow health bar, a yellow ring around them, or simply tinted yellow clothes are present with all Ally Units. Ally Units move during the Ally Phase, which occurs directly after the Player Phase.
Ally Units are often generic units (i.e: Crimea, Daein). While in some cases they do have character specific names, this is usually not the case. Ally Units only appear in parts 2, 3, and 4 of Radiant Dawn. Ally Units can be given general orders through the Direct order.
