The character Anna is one of the numerous reccuring themes seen throughout the Fire Emblem series, she has featured in every Fire Emblem game except for Gaiden. She appears as a red haired female. She is almost never seen without her trademark pose (of her resting her pointer finger on her face) or her sly smile.
Anna never appears as a unit, she usually only appears when you suspend the game or enter a secret shop. In the GBA games she also appears in the Link Arena and also in the prompt before you erase all game data. In Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn she hosts the in-game tutorial, where she is seen riding a pegasus.
Anna appears in dialogue in Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi, its remake Shadow Dragon, Seisen no Keifu and Rekka no Ken. In all three of these games she appears to have a close relationship with another recurring character, Jake.
