Etymology[]
Indra is the Hindu god of the heavens, thunder, and storms. It is said that rainbows are Indra's bow which he uses to fire arrows of lightning.
The weapon itself may also be a reference to the Vasavi Shakti, a magic missile that was gifted to the hero Karna from Indra during the Hindu epic poem, the Mahabharata.
Trivia[]
- Hubert identifies the weapon as Agarthan technology and claims that it is nearly as powerful as a Heroes' Relic.
- However, the weapon is repaired and forged with Arcane Crystals rather than Agarthium, and lacks the black icon of Agarthan weapons seen on weapons like Athame and the Scythe of Sariel.
- Arcane Crystals are used to repair other magical weapons, however.
