The Arrowspate (クインクレイン Kuinku rein, lit. Quick Rain in the Japanese versions), is a Ballista that recurrently appears across the Fire Emblem Series. Given the fact that the ammunition that this ballista ejects is essentially the enlarged version of the arrows that the standard Bow dispenses, its ability to inflict effective damage against Flying Units is thence of no significant consequence.
In Chapter 13 of Shadow Dragon, several units of the Arrowspate weapon are deployed by the enemy army, and function as the most prominent reason for the player to avoid despatching flying units to the battle at hand.
