Attack Speed is a character's final Speed after taking into account the character's ability to wield a weapon of a certain weight. It is used to determine whether a character will double attack or not.

FE1, FE2, FE3, FE4

Attack Speed = Speed - Weapon Weight

FE5

Attack Speed = Speed - (Weapon Weight - Build)

Note(s): If the value inside the bracket is lower than 0, its value becomes 0 instead. When equipped with magic, Build is set to 0.

FE6, FE7, FE8

Attack Speed = Speed - (Weapon Weight - Constitution)

Note(s): If the value inside the bracket is lower than 0, its value becomes 0 instead.

FE9, FE10, FE11

Attack Speed = Speed - (Weapon Weight - Strength)

Note(s): If the value inside the bracket is lower than 0, its value becomes 0 instead.

FE12

Attack Speed = Speed

Note(s): For the first time weight does not exist in this game, so AS is taken to be exactly equal to Speed at all times.
