Augury is a special option that can be chosen in the battle preparation menu for Rekka no Ken. The augury gives you special information about the upcoming chapter, such as knowledge on recruitable characters, and how to approach them, special wheather conditions, and what type of characters should be brought into the battle. Auguries are told by the witch Hannah at first, who one must pay for her augury, and then by Nils, who gives them for free. Hannah first appears to give auguries at chapter 14, False Friends, however she leaves after the group travels to the Dread Isle. One must then go without auguries until Nils begins to tell them later in the game.
