Aqua (アクア) is a playable character in Fire Emblem If. She is an enigmatic songstress who will be important in the game. Aqua will be voiced by Lynn-san in if while her singing voice is provided by Renka.

Profile

Not much is known about Aqua aside from the fact that she is a gifted songstress and dancer and is seen dancing in a theater, watched by Garon. The song she sings is if~hitori omou (if一人思う lit. if~one's thoughts). She is met by the Avatar near a lake where she learns that they were born in Hoshido but raised in Nohr. Aqua appears to follow the Avatar through the story of if, regardless of what route they choose. In the Hoshido route, Aqua wears a white and blue dress. In the Nohr route, Aqua wears a dark blue and purple dress as well as a veil. It is currently unknown if she will wear a different dress or one of the other 2 if the third path is chosen.

Etymology

Aqua is the latin word for water. It is also a greenish-blue color.

Trivia

• Aqua is the only character in the Fire Emblem franchise to have two different in-game voice actresses (not including language changes). Her in-game voice actress is Lynn-san while her singing voice is provided by Rinka.
