Azusa Maekawa is a character mentioned in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE.
Profile[]
A year before the events of the game, Azusa was an idol of sensational popularity, and had songs composed for her by Chouten Sawafuji, a genius musician. Tragically, however, she was killed when a Mirage named Pheros attacked her and consumed her Performa whole. Kiria Kurono and her Mirage, Tharja, attempted to defeat Pheros, but she proved to be too powerful for them alone, and they were forced to retreat.
During the events of the game, Pheros has returned and is now attempting to drain Chouten's Performa like she did Azusa's. Fortunately, Itsuki Aoi, Tsubasa Oribe, and the rest of Fortuna Entertainment catch on to this, and finally manage to slay Pheros, avenging Azusa's death.
Etymology[]
Azusa's name literally means "catalpa", referring to trees and other things made of wood.
Azusa's last name, Maekawa, literally translates to "river in front".
Trivia[]
- Due to not actually appearing in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, Azusa is the only Mirage Master to not be eligible for voting in the Choose Your Legends events for Heroes.
