Etymology[edit | edit source]
Býleistr translates to "calming lightning" or "bee lighting". It may also mean "walking among bees", and that in turn translates to "beekeeper".
Býleistr, sometimes anglicized as Byleist, is the brother of Loki and Helbindi in Norse Mythology. Nothing is known about him other than his family and that he, as well as his brothers, were to lead Hel's army into battle at Ragnarok.
