Basilikos (バシリコス Bashirikosu) is a formidable Axe that is first introduced in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade.

Regarded as one of the best axes in the game beating the Armads in might but losing to it in hit%. Basilikos is one of the most powerful weapons overall. Initially wielded by the Morph of Brendan, the Basilikos could have been designed to pay homage to his former role as the founder of the Black Fang.

Fire Emblem Heroes

Basilikos makes an appearance in Heroes first as a new Legendary Axe that was given to Raven in a post launch update and later serves as the default 5-Star weapon of Linus. Basilikos in this game is a powerful axe that accelerates the cooldown of Specials and can be Refined, gaining a Life and Death 3 effect in addition.

Etymology

Basilikos means "royal" in Greek, coming from the Greek basileus, meaning "king" or "emperor". The name of this axe also sounds very similar to "basilisk", a mythological serpent that could kill people upon looking at them.
