The Black Eagles (黒鷲の学級アドラークラッセ Adorākurasse) are one of the three student houses at the Garreg Mach Monastery Officers Academy in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. At Rhea's invitation, Byleth must choose between the Black Eagles and the other two houses, the Blue Lions and the Golden Deer, to personally teach.

Profile

The Black Eagles house at the Officers Academy is comprised of students who hail from the Adrestian Empire. They favor the use of axes and black magic.

The twin-headed eagle of the Adrestian Empire's coat of arms and the black armor worn by Imperial soldiers inspired the name and banner of the Black Eagles.

Academy Phase

When Edelgard is revealed to be the Flame Emperor, apart from Hubert (who had left to prepare Edelgard's plans), the rest of the Black Eagles are shocked by her sudden betrayal. They are able to stop her soldiers from pillaging the Crest Stones in the Holy Tomb, and Rhea then orders Byleth to kill her, which they can refuse should they attend her coronation.

If Byleth sides with Rhea, Hubert soon teleports in to take Edelgard away to safety. The rest of the Black Eagles then decide to side with the Church of Seiros and form the Resistance Army.

If Byleth sides with Edelgard, Hubert teleports in as usual, but also takes Byleth with him away to safety. The rest of the Black Eagles catch up to the three, where they decide to side with Edelgard and Byleth in opposing the Church of Seiros. Hubert then suggests to form a special division, which Edelgard agrees with and the Black Eagle Strike Force is formed.

War Phase

Should Byleth not recruit members of the Black Eagles during the Academy phase if they taught the Blue Lions or Golden Deer, the former students of the Black Eagles will support Edelgard in her war against the Church.
