The Black Knight is a horse-mounted combat physical class that is exclusive to TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga and TearRing Saga: Berwick Saga. One of four promoted forms of the Rook Knight class, the Black Knight class is armed with Swords and Lances as its weapons of choice. As one of the four possible promotions for the Rook Knight, Black Knight is quite a great class in terms of its stats and class skill, Charge (only inferior to the Gold Knight).
Profile[]
In TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga, Black Knights are said to be Prince Arless' personal guards, an elite group defined by their unparalleled strength. Following the death of the prince, they scattered across the land, condemned by malicious rumours spread by the Gerxel Church.
After the events of TearRing Saga conclude, the Black Knights are reformed under Silva, with Mintz serving as her lieutenant commander.
In TearRing Saga: Berwick Saga, Black Knights are an enemy-only class affiliated with the Raze Empire, functioning as elite knights. They are virtually identical to the Duke Knight, making them extremely dangerous. Furthermore, all of them come equipped with the Black Shield, a Medium Shield that has a chance of causing the enemy's attacks to backfire. Though a Black Knight can use it at any level, it can be used by other classes if the unit is level 20 or higher.
