Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

Boldor is the final obstacle on the path to unlocking the Bargain Ring, and should be dispatched with all due haste. Boss abuse is simply not an option against him. He is the rough statistical equivalent of Philip, possessing superior resistance and evasion, but inferior stats in every other area. Quan and Sigurd are both good choices for dealing with him, and the player can utilize Canto to allow other units to attack him on the same turn. Once Boldor is down, the player should seize Heirhein immediately, no questions asked.

Quotes[]

“What, the Grannvale army is here!? Bah! You're all useless!! I'll do this myself!”
—Boldor's battle quote
“Uuagh... My beloved palace...”
—Boldor's battle quote

Etymology[]

In katakana, Boldor's name can also be read as Bordeaux.

Trivia[]

  • Boldor's portrait is recolored for use by Daccar and Disler.
