The Bracelet of the Ancestor is Tiki's Emblem Bracelet, introduced in Fire Emblem Engage as DLC. It houses the spirit of Emblem Tiki.

Profile[]

The Bracelet of the Ancestor houses the spirit of Tiki from her Archanea Series appearances as a young girl.

In the Fell Xenologue DLC, The Bracelet of the Ancestor was one of two Emblem Bracelet safeguarded by Lythos alongside the Bracelet of the Shepherd Exalt. Shortly before the events of the Xenologue, a hooded assailant had raided the Bracelet Vault in Lythos Castle, taking both the Bracelets within.

On their way out, the assailant encountered the Bracelet's current guardians Nel and Nil, who had recently summoned Alear from another world. A skirmish ensued with the assailant dropping the Bracelet of the Ancestor, but escaping with the other one. Alear attempts to evoke the Bracelet like with the Emblem Rings of their world, but they soon discover that their Divine Dragon powers do not work outside of their original world. Emblem Tiki, barely able to communicate, is able to be put into slumber by Nel's power and the group takes her bracelet on their journey to collect the remaining six.

Overall[]

The Bracelet of the Ancestor enables the wearer to wield Tiki's power in combat and it is the most unique among the Emblem Rings and Bracelets. Rather than add additional weapons to the user's default Inventory when Engaged, Tiki's Bracelet completely overrides all Weapons and instead transforms the wielder into a Manakete and giving them weapons associated with their capabilities. It also turns the wielder into a Flying Unit and a Dragon Unit as well.

The Bracelet's Engage skill, Divine Blessing, gives her target a Revival Stone, but cannot be stacked on the same unit if the user is able to Engage twice in the same battle. However, two separate units can be given a Revival Stone if the user Engages twice. If this skill is used while the user is adjacent to an ally wielding the Ring of the Hero-King, Divine Blessing+ grants further effects. If used on an synched unit, they gain three charges to their Engage meter or fully heals them if they are not synched.

Unlike most Emblem Rings and Bracelets, Engaging with the Bracelet of the Ancestor grants all Emblem Weapons from the beginning. Eternal Claw lands Critical Hits easily and Tail Smash acts as a Smash Weapon. The user is also able to wield a Breath weapon dependent on their Battle Style. Back-Up, Cavalry, Covert, and Qi Adept units gain Fire Breath, ignoring the foe's defensive stats but attacks only a single foe. All other Battle Styles attack in an area though they deal different effects depending on their type, cannot perform Follow-Up Attacks, and must attack second even if they initiate combat. Armored Units gain Ice Breath, attacking in an area in front of them and hitting them for half of their Defense stats. It freezes the foe in place as well. Flying Units gain Flame Breath, attacking in an area and setting titles in the area ablaze at 70% damage and half Def. Mystical Units attack in an area at half Res and deals magic damage. Finally Dragon Units create Fog tiles in an area, deals damage at half their Def, and deals bonus damage to Dragon Units.

One of the skills best gained from the Bracelet is the first skill, Starsphere, which is inheritable and grants a +15% increase to all growth rates. While it has little impact on final builds skill wise, the boost to growth rates leads to faster capped units and can give a strong boost to low growing stats, especially for Build, that is sometimes low for a plethora of units. Aside from the stat boost skill of HP/Luck+, the Ring features Sphere skills in Geosphere, granting Def/Res boosts if the user is next to allies at the start of turn, granting bonuses to both the unit themselves and their adjacent allies. Lifesphere heals the user 20 to 40 HP depending on the Skill level and cleanses any negative status like Break or Poison if they end a turn by Waiting. Finally, Special Guard reduces damage from special attacks from 1 to 5 if depending on Level.

The Bracelet of the Ancestor is a unique ring due to the special unit transformation it gives and the various Breaths provide useful utilities. Its unique skills also provide supportive and passive skills great for giving long-term endurance to the user and allies alike. Likewise, the Engage skill is a potent unit as it gives a safety net in the event of a punishing map or an unfortunate bad series of attack rolls against the user.
