The Brass Shuriken is a Shuriken that is introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. The most basic Shuriken to appear in the game, the Brass Shuriken, apart from raising its wielder's Speed by 2, boosts their Critical Evade. The Brass Shuriken also imposes minor debuffs on enemy units post-battle, encompassing small reductions in Skill, Speed, Defense and Resistance.

Etymology

The shuriken (手裏剣) was a common throwing weapon for ninja, and its name can mean "sword hidden in the hand", or "the sword inside of hand". They came in a variety of shapes, from flattened blades to the popular star shape.
