Brawling (格闘, Kakutō), often shortened to "Brawl", is a weapon skill stat introduced in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Brawling consists fighting with weapons that involve fighting enemies using only Gauntlets or one's own fists if a male character has the Unarmed Combat ability, as either the Class Abilities of the Brawler and Grappler classes, or as a Skill Ability earned from mastering the Brawler class.

Overview

Brawl shares many similarities with Strike from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn as the weapon type relies on general unarmed combat, mainly involving punches. However, unlike Strike, characters trained in Brawling can enhance their damage through assorted gauntlet and knuckle weapons.

Gauntlets, unlike any previous weapon types, can be used to attack up to 4 times.

Gauntlets cannot be used by Cavalry or Flying Units unless they have Dismounted first, due to the need of keeping a hand to have a hold of their steed's saddles. Additionally, it can also not be used by magic classes, due to the need of having free hands to cast magic.
