"Trace a line around the continent's north-eastern plains, and you have Aurelis.

This kingdom alone had somehow resisted Doluna's attempts to conquer it, but only by some miracle. By the time Marth arrived in Aurelis, much of its territory had already been carved up by Doluna's ally Medon.

Still, the king's younger brother, Hardin, refused to give up without a fight. The people called him Coyote, and he intended to live up to the name. Since its founding, Aurelis and the holy kingdom of Akaneia shared close ties and months ago Princess Nyna of Akeneia had come to Hardin's aid. By his side, she had called on the people to fight- but few remained to answer.

Medon's finest soldiers were closing in. Nyna knew they were out of time..."

Comments

  • Hardin - A cavalier with above average strength, speed, and skill stats. He has a B Lance weapon level which means he can use Silver Lances. Rivals Cain and Abel for the title of best cavalier. Makes a good sniper or swordmaster. Hardin's usage varies with player's opinion.
  • Roshea/Vyland - Average cavaliers, usage varies with player's opinion. Roshea has good hp growth, Vyland's only stat growth is speed and even then he is totally outclassed by other characters such as his boss Hardin. Can be allowed to die in battle to decrease unit count to get Athena for Chapter 6x.
  • Sedgar/Wolf - Capable Horsemen, they are prepromoted but possess insane growth rates. Their great level-up gains allow them to be as strong if not stronger than other promoted characters by the endgame.
  • Wendell - Average sage. Has above average speed stats but lacks the magic to be stronger than Merric. Useful as a magic unit if Merric is dead.

Extra

  • The village at the north end of the map contains a firestone, a dragonstone usable by manaketes. In Chapter 7: Lefcandith Gauntlet it is revealed that Bantu accidently left it there, and he needs it to be able to transform.
  • Merach drops a Silver Lance.
