The Circlet (サークレット Sākuretto) is an accessory that is exclusive to Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. When it is present in the inventory of either Deirdre or her daughter Julia, the Circlet will confer the Prayer and Life skills to them.

Background

When Deirdre first enlists in Sigurd's army in Chapter 1, she carries the Circlet with her, although it does not play a particularly major role throughout the first generation.

The Circlet reappears in Chapter 10 of the second generation, where Arvis, after engaging in an emotional reunion with Julia, entrusts it into her keeping before she is kidnapped by Manfroy. After Velthomer Castle is conquered in the Final Chapter, a conversation involving Seliph, Lewyn and Felipe reveals that the key to unlocking the treasure hall where the Book of Naga is kept was affixed to the Circlet by Arvis. Armed with this knowledge, when Julia enters Velthomer Castle, Lewyn urges her to use the Circlet to unlock the treasure hall and retrieve the Book of Naga from its resting place. She then employs the power contained within the tome to defeat Julius and the soul of Loptous, thereby bringing the holy war to a resounding conclusion.
