Alear, Nil, Nel, and Gregory heads to the kingdom of Elusia which Alear claims to be easier to get into than Brodia. Zelestia and another member of the Four Winds, Madeline met up with the group. Much to Madeline's suprise, Alear reminds her of the Divine Dragon she knew. She brushes it and introduces herself to Alear. Nel asks Madeline about her report; Madeline reports that the queen and her royal guard are in the Hasaude Cathedral performing a ritual. Nel suspects that the ritual was for reviving Sombron. Mauvier rode on a horseback and met up with the group. Nel's questions Mauvier since he was supposed to gather intelligence from Solm. He states that the queen of Solm departed the palace, then he followed her leading him to Elusia. He stated that Timerra entered Elusia with a bracelet in her hand Nel infers that the Solmic army intends to storm the church to prevent the resurrection of Sombron. Aware that the clash of armies will complicate the matter, Nel tells the group to proceed in haste. Alear introduces themselves to Mauvier and Mauvier introduced himself to them and left much to Alear's disappointment. Madeline finds out the armies already started fighting. Nel plans that the army must get to their leaders and reclaim the bracelets while they are distracted. Mauvier points out that Ivy holds the Bracelet of the Strategist while Timerra holds the Bracelet of the Doting Sister. Nel agreed to Mauvier's idea of heading to the cathedral and disrupting the ritual, Mauvier proceeded while Alear's army heads into battle.

While the armies remained distracted fighting against each other, Alear's army faces against Ivy and Timerra respectively. Ivy mistakes some of the soldieres from Alear's army as Solm's tricks while Timerra mistakes some soldiers from Alear's army as revivals from Elusia. Regardless, Alear's army takes down each commander respectively.

At the end of the battle, Nel commands Ivy and Timerra to relinquish the bracelets. Ivy claims that she is on Nel's side by bringing back Nel's father to life despite Nel never asking her to do so. Mauvier tells Nel that the priest surrendered and he dismantled the altar much to her plea. Ivy is devastated saying that the ritual was Elusia's last hope. To her anger, Ivy demands to soldiers to kill Nel. Nel gave Ivy and Timerra their final warning to hand over the bracelets. As both of them refused, Nel transformed and ate Ivy and Timerra much to Alear's disgust.

Nel let Emblem Soren and Emblem Camilla rest in peace. Alear expressed their anger to Nel for killing two rulers. Nel confirms to Alear that the rulers were already dead and were Corrupted, which applied to the royals and people in Brodia and Firene. Nel does not know when they perished nor when they became Corrupted but believes they are not aware of their condition. Alear tells Nel that she should have told them, but Nel said she wanted to conceal an unpleasant truth and explained that she considered confiding with the Four Winds and Nil but worried that they may bear the same burden. Responding to Alear that she hid the truth to protect them, she still regretted her decision. Alear chose to apologize telling Nel that she had to watch her friends and allies die and had to kill them; Alear thanked her for doing it to protect her. However, this triggered a flashback to Nel about the Alear Nel knew. Nel confessed to Alear that she hated that she laid her eyes on them remembering the moments where alternate Alear promised that they would return home to Nel but died. Nel was aware that it is not Alear's fault, but it reminded her of the painful memories. Nel walked away to clear her head and left the bracelets. As Zelestia proceeded to confide Nel, Nil let the Four Winds join Zelestia.

Nil asks Alear if they will go after Nel, but they chose to stay behind. As Nil told Alear to look behind, she saw a corrupted Emblem Tiki who Nil claimed that he roused her from her slumber. Nil farewelled Alear as they blackout.

A flashback of Nil was amazed that he roused an emblem from slumber that he will no longer be useless. When Nil wanted to tell Nel, Sombron rejects the idea. Sombron tells Nil to continue to play the role of the weakling to hide his true strength and outwit others. He tells Nil that he is capable of becoming his true heir that his power surpasses Nel's.

  • If the player applies a unit with a weapon effective against a Corrupted (ex. Holy Stance), all enemy units will have a Corrupted icon, backing up Nel's claim.
  • In the Japanese version of the game, if Zelkov battles against alternate Ivy, she brings up that she slept with the alternate Zelkov. This was changed in the English version, where alternate Ivy claims alternate Zelkov as her favorite retainer.
  • In the Japanese version of the game, if Kagetsu battles against alternate Ivy, she brings up that alternate Kagetsu refused to have a relationship with her. This was changed in the English version, where alternate Ivy claims alternate Kagetsu despised Ivy.
