Story[]

Count Rowe surrenders Arianrhod easily and the kingdom's army is ready to strike at the empire. Before they can make their plan of attack, word gets to them that Count Rowe along with his escorts have been killed. Dimitri suspects Cornelia but is left in a pickle since they can't leave the Silver Maiden unguarded. Before the group fights, Dimitri notes that Byleth is among the enemies and assigns a plan for the player to kill them. The player notes that he has only a rivalry with Byleth and that death is part of the job. They also ask Dimitri that they can lean on their friends if they want. When the player fights Byleth, they get the upper hand only for Sothis to possess Byleth and beat down on the player. The player is forced to retreat as Byleth retakes control. Jeralt and Alois express worry for Byleth but offer their support. Meanwhile Dimitri mentions that he'll be taking some forces back to the capital because he heard that Sreng invaded. He takes Dedue and Rodrigue with him while leaving Felix in charge.
