The Crown Prince (暗夜王, Anya-ō, lit. Dark Night King in the Japanese version) is the personal promoted class of Xander in Fire Emblem Warriors. It is a horse-mounted combat physical class that wields Swords in combat. It could be considered the counterpart to the High Prince, Ryoma's personal promoted class in the same game.

History in the series

Crown Prince has so far only appeared in Fire Emblem Warriors. In that game, it appears to be a continuation of the Paladin class, from which it promotes. The class is considered Cavalry and wields Swords.

Overview

Combat

Crown Prince acts much like the Paladin Class, with high movement and quick strikes. However, the attacks of Crown Prince have a larger striking arc and deal more damage.

Etymology

A 'Crown Prince' is defined as the male heir to a throne, and is usually a term used by western nations. Being from the European-styled Nohr, and the eldest of the Nohrian Siblings, this title describes Xander well.
