The Devil Sword is a Sword that debuted in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light.
Overview[]
This sword appears almost exclusively in the Archanea Series of the Fire Emblem franchise. Such a status is one that is contrived from the sword possessing the ability to randomly inflict damage upon the user when they wield it to attack enemy units, the frequency of which may be offset by increasing the Luck of said user.
This sword is analogous with the recurring Devil Axe, as well as the Shadow Sword that appears in Fire Emblem Gaiden and the Devil Spear that appears in TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga.
A similar sword appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, known as the Cursed Ashiya Sword.
