Overview[edit | edit source]
Dimaggio is one of the few bosses in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War who is incapable of attacking at a distance. His speed may seem high, but his Steel Axe lowers it well into the negatives. The player can freely destroy him by attacking from a distance with Azelle, or the player can be a bit more proactive and attack him up close with Sigurd, Alec, and Naoise, making sure to take advantage of Canto. While Alec and Naoise face extreme difficulties in killing Dimaggio on their own, Sigurd in particular is extremely good at dispatching him, typically taking him out in two rounds of combat. Sigurd can even seize the castle on the turn he kills Dimaggio, so dealing with him this way is fairly efficient.
