—Dorias to Leif
Dorias is the Duke of Leonster in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 and the father of Selfina. He lost his right arm during a battle in Alster. Alongside August, he serves as Leif's tactician.
Before the events of Thracia 776, Dorias had been training young Leonster knights under the protection of Hannibal of southern Thracia. While acting as Leif's tactician, he notably had a number of disagreements with August; for example, he recommended taking the heavily defended northern path into Leonster, riding the banner of Leonster to bring hope to the oppressed people, while August suggested going through the less-defended southern forests, which would be easier to take advantage of.
Dorias sacrifices his life for Leif during the attack on Alster, leading the first wave after Leif stubbornly insisted on attempting to liberate Alster right after reclaiming Leonster. Both he and August were willing to make this ultimate sacrifice, which shows a final reconciliation despite their disagreements in the past.
