“A stone imbued with mysterious might. Myrrh draws strength from it.”
—In-game description, The Sacred Stones

The Dragonstone (竜石 Ryūseki) is a Stone weapon introduced in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and returning in Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. It is a generic Dragonstone belonging to no specified tribe, and its stronger variant is the Dragonstone+.

In The Sacred Stones, the Dragonstone cannot be repaired by the Hammerne staff therefore players must use the Dragonstone sparingly.

Trivia[]

  • In Fates, both Dragonstones and Beaststones share the same Weapon Experience amount due to both being in the Stone item category. This can be seen by having a Selkie/Velouria-mothered female Kana or a Kaden/Keaton-sired male Kana (or his Corrin-mothered sister) change classes between the Kitsune/Wolfskin and the Nohr Prince(ss) class-lines, allowing the unit to use either Beaststones or Dragonstones, respectively.
    • It is also likely that this was also the case in Awakening, despite having a Weapon Rank of "-".
