The Three Etrurian Generals are the highest-ranking members of the Etrurian Military. They are appointed by the King of Etruria himself and are said to be the most proficient in their chosen fields. The title of the head knight, Great General, went to the toughest and most experienced general. The title of Knight General went to the swiftest and bravest general. The title of Mage General went to the wisest and most skilled magic wielder.
During the events of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, Pent, Count Reglay, was the Mage General of Etruria, but it is unknown who the other two generals were at that time. During the events of Fire Emblem: Binding Blade, the Valkyrie Cecilia was the Mage General (having been recommended by the previous Mage General, presumably Pent or his successor), General Douglas was the Great General, and the Paladin Perceval was the Knight General. Perceval was later installed as the Great General after the war, due to Douglas retiring from military life.
