While the name Exemplar makes little sense as a standard Fire Emblem class as it does not refer to the skills or abilities of the class, the word Exemplar in this context refers to a person or object that is a perfect standard for their kind. This implies that the class is the peak of a Cleric's abilities, and the standard of its kind. |

Trivia
- From behind, the Exemplar outfit resembles Sonya's outfit in an illustration from the Gaiden novels.
- Its Japanese name coincidentally shares its name with Titania, a character from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, though the character's Japanese name is Tiamat rather than Titania.
