Fódlan's Locket (フォドラの首飾り, Fodora no Kubi-kazari) is a fortress in the mountains of Fódlan's Throat, which separate the Leicester Alliance and Almyra.

Profile[]

Three Houses[]

Fódlan's Locket was built in Imperial Year 1101 through the combined efforts of the Adrestian Empire, Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and Leicester Alliance. It was intended to be an impregnable bulwark against additional invasions from Almyra, a powerful and aggressive country to the east. House Goneril was charged with manning the fortress.

In Imperial Year 1180/5, Fódlan's Locket came under attack from Almyra at a time when Duke Holst Sigiswald Goneril had fallen ill by eating a bad mushroom. Holst sent for his sister, Hilda, to command the fortress's garrison in his stead.

In the Crimson Flower route, during 1185, Edelgard answered the call instead.

Three Hopes[]

In Imperial Year 1180, Holst receive word of a larger than normal force from Almyra, and called for aid from various sources, including Garreg Mach Monastery. This incursion was lead by both Nader the Undefeated and Prince Shahid, the latter of whom is vying for the Almyran throne and seeks conquering the Locket as legitimacy. Having heard of Faergus in revolt and Adrestia in upheaval, Shahid takes his chance to take the Locket. However, Holst and the Golden Deer had managed to overcome Shahid's forces and send him running back to Almyra.
