The Fallen Somniel as shown in the intro of Fell Xenologue 6.

The Fallen Somniel is a location in the Fell Xenologue of Fire Emblem Engage.

Profile[]

In the Fell Xenologue version of Elyos, the Somniel existed in that world as well. When the Divine Dragon Alear of that world died and the Divine Dragon's blessing onto the world waned, the Somniel came crashing into the ocean near the southern edge of Lythos.

Just before their passing, to prevent the Bracelet of the Three Houses from being used by forces loyal to Sombron, Alear encased the Bracelet by an impenetrable barrier that could only be broken by Alear themselves. With the death of the Divine Dragon, only an Alear of another world could break it, thus Rafal, posing as Nel's younger twin brother Nil, helped to summon an Alear from another world in order to break the barrier.

Rafal capture both Alear and Nel, threatening to kill his sister if Alear does not break the barrier. Alear begrudgingly does so and with all seven Bracelets in hand, Rafal unleashes his full Fell Dragon powers, leading to a grueling fight. Alear and their forces ultimately emerge victorious but Nel, wishing to free Rafal from his quest, kills herself. Overcome with grief, Rafal atones for his actions by spending a thousand years pouring his energy into Nel with the hopes of reviving her. When he is ultimately successful, Rafal and his sister depart the Xenologue Elyos and joins Alears forces in the other world.
