Fernand (フェルナン Ferunan) is a character who appears exclusively in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
Profile
Fernand's and Clive's families knowing each other for a long time, he grew up with Clive and Clair like siblings. However, due to the Rigelian famine, there was an insurrection in his territory in which is estate was attacked. His parents, older sister, and young brother and sister were killed. After this event, Fernand became extremely hostile to commoners.
A former member of the Deliverance, he was persuaded by Berkut to join at his side after Fernand was displeased when Clive made Alm the new leader of the Deliverance.

After Alm and his forces defeat Berkut's, Fernand retreats along with Berkut. He finds Berkut and a dead Linea after Berkut goes through with the ritual of ultimate power. A newly-revived Witch Linea attacks Fernand as he flees the scene, and the wounds that he sustains cause him to pass away in Clive's arms.
