Nihil is a recurring Skill in the Fire Emblem series.

Nihil allows its user to prevent his/her enemies from activating any of their skills in battle, apart from Nihil itself. For players who are reliant on the activation of skills to gain an upper hand in battle, they should be wary of enemies with the Nihil equipped, as this may render any tactics they may have planned useless.

In Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the Mantle skill gives its user an innate version of the Nihil skill, thus cannot be prevented from activating by Nihil.

Nihil is especially useful against Ashera in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, due to the ability of her protective aura to deflect damage to the initiator of any attacks.
