Fimbulvetr is a character from Fire Emblem Heroes. Known as the winter of annihilation as part of Ragnarök, she is a major antagonist of Book X.

Profile[]
Fibulvetr is one of the three catastrophes of Ragnarök, called the winter of annihilation.
As part of the first wave of Ragnarök, Fimbulvetr is tasked with freezing the three realms on the bottom, first besieging Nifl. When the Order of Heroes arrive in Nifl, the realm is overwhelmed by an immense blizzard. The Order is able to face off against Fimbulvetr, however they are barely able to halt her, forcing her to unleash greater power. Thórr then immediately teleports the Order far away from Fimbulvetr, stating that if she had not, they would have immediately died to her cold. With no opposition left in front of her, Fimbulvetr completes her icing of Nifl and moves onto Múspell.
Personality[]
Fimbulvetr has a taciturn personality, as she is only beholden to her duty to unleash her winter storm. She speaks in an extremely robotic fashion.
Etymology[]
In Norse mythology, Fimbulvetr literally means "the great winter". It is a three-year summer-less winter marked by powerful blizzards that come in all direction and is a period of numerous wars and conflicts. It is the first event that leads to Ragnarök.
