In the Jugdral Series, the Fire Emblem is the crest of the house of Velthomer, a dukedom of Grannvale founded by the Crusader Fjalar.
Overview[]
While it is not physically shown, the Fire Emblem is mentioned in the epilogue of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War by the successor of House Velthomer as being the family's crest. In this context, it is referred to in Japanese as the 'Honoo no Monshō', directly translated as 'Emblem of Flames'. It is described as a "mark of justice" and, after the crimes committed by the Velthomer family, the successor wishes it can be called that name again in the future after the house has redeemed itself.
