The Fire Emblem, the namesake of the franchise, is a name given to pivotal objects present in most games in the series. It takes different forms from game to game depending on the world and setting.
Profile[]
The Fire Emblems usually take on a central role in the overall plot of each game in which the term is used. The nature of each object differs in each game. In some they are merely powerful equipment or items. Some have been malicious in nature while others are holy. They are generally associated with the protagonist of each game or the main antagonist. While these items usually do not reveal themselves until very late into the game, their influences are often seen since the very beginning.
Only Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake lack a narrative Fire Emblem in its story.
