Chrom (クロム) is one of the three main protagonists of Fire Emblem Awakening. Prince of the Halidom of Ylisse, Chrom leads his own ragtag vigilante force, the Shepherds, to protect the Halidom from the neighboring kingdom of Plegia. He wields the Falchion passed down through the millennia from the Hero-King Marth himself.

A chance encounter with the amnesiac Tactician, Robin, leads to a bond between the two that last through a long, grueling war that would engulf all of Ylisse as well as a dire warning from a man claiming to be Marth himself of a future ravaged by a Fell-Dragon who will destroy the world.
