Fortify Resistance is a type C passive skill introduced in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Overview[]

As a Fortify skill; Fortify Resistance increases the Resistance of adjacent allies by 2/3/4/7 depending on the level of the skill.

Fortify Resistance is also a gateway skill in many respects; with a number of users branching off after the second tier to learn the movement and weapon type Fortify skills.

Fortify Resistance is learned without skill inheritance by: Azura, Caeda, Corrin (Novice Vacationer), Jagen, Kliff, Linde, Maria Niles (Forbidden Tease), Peony, Reyson, Sophia and Soren. Of this list; Caeda and Corrin (Novice Vacationer) both learn Fortify Fliers, Jagen learns Fortify Cavalry, Niles (Forbidden Tease) learns Fortify Armor while Reyson proceeds to Fortify Beasts. In addition, Peony is the only unit currently able to learn the fourth tier of this skill without inheritance.
