The Frying Pan (フライパン Furai pan) is an Axe that first appeared in Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyū~, later reappearing in Fire Emblem Fates.

In Shin Monshō no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyū~, it was a common prize from Everyone's Conditions, with the Frying Pan being evidently the weakest axe available in the game. This is in line with its role as a cooking utensil, rendering it impractical to be used as a combat weapon. The Frying Pan is analogous to the Obtuse Sword, the Laundry Pole, the Toy Bow and Nurufire, all of which function as "joke" weapons and are ill-suited for effective combat.

In Fates, the frying pan returns, and, while still weak, does have a higher Hit then most axes available, giving it some usefulness.
