Garret is often considered the worst of your three possible berserkers, even with hard mode bonuses, and with good reason. His high HP doesn't make him a total loss as he can cap it, but his other stats can't measure up when compared to a Geese or Gonzales of the same level. Although berserkers are supposed to have high strength, Garret's strength is average for his level. His growths only excel in HP and strength, although if you're lucky he may gain a decent skill and speed, so only use Garret if you really like him or if you're forced to. His luck is a bit iffy against those with killer weapons and his defenses are horrid, especially his resistance, so like with Gonzales, Garret should avoid fast, powerful magic users.

“I can't be doing banditry forever. I've been looking for a job that would earn me a decent income.”
— Garret in a support conversation with Lalam

Garret is a bandit with a heart of gold from FE6. Garret was an unwilling bandit and when Lilina spoke to him he glady swapped sides over to the "good guys", as he hated Bandit life.
