The Golden Deer is one of the three noble houses at the Officer's Academy at Garreg Mach Monastery in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It is one of the three eponymous protagonist groups in the game along side the Black Eagles and the Blue Lions.
Profile
The Golden Deer house at the Officer's Academy is comprised of students who hail from the Leicester Alliance. Compared to the other houses, Golden Deer has more commoner students, many of whom are proficient at using bows.

- Five members of the Golden Deer, Claude von Riegan, Hilda Valentin Goneril, Lysithea von Cordelia, Lorenz Hermann Gloucester, and Marianne von Edmund, come from families with names inspired by characters in the Shakespeare play King Lear. Claude, Hilda, and Lysithea are named after Lear's three daughters, Cordelia, Goneril, and Regan, Marianne is named after one of the play's villains, Edmund, and Lorenz is named after Edmund's father, the Earl of Gloucester.
