“The gall of ye, defyin' me crew! I'll put an axe square between yer eyes! Ye ain't leaving here alive. I swear it on the rickety peg leg o'Shanty Pete!”
—Gomer's battle quote

Gomer is the boss of Chapter 2 in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi, Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem (Book 1), and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Gomer is a Pirate and leader of the Galder Pirates who are responsible for terrorizing Galder Harbor, a peaceful port located in Talys. Etymology

Gomer means "complete" in Hebrew. It is most commonly attributed to the prostitute in the book of Hosea named Gomer, whom God commanded Hosea to marry in attempt to allegorically illustrate man's recurrent unfaithfulness to God. However, it was also the name of a grandson of Noah. [1]
