The Gorgon Egg (ゴルゴンエッグ) is an enemy only class in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It is an immobile unit that hatches into a Gorgon after a certian amount of time; in this state they are much weaker than an ordinary Gorgon, to the point where they are extremely easy to kill. However, if they hatch, they will turn into a full fledged Gorgon. A Gorgon Egg will gain 5 HP per turn (after a certain conditions are met, generally after a certain number of turns or when a player unit gets close), when they reach full HP they will transform into Gorgons. They give 50 Exp when destroyed regardless of the Level of the unit that kills them, which makes them very valuable to your units. Gorgon eggs are unique, in that they only appear in Neleras Peak. Using the control enemy glitch one can fully restore items such as Myrrh's dragon stone and the Hammerne staff itself. For how to do this see the Control Enemy Glitch page for details.

Gorgon Eggs encountered during the Two Faces of Evil tend to have around 15-25 HP. Ones encountered in a Monster skirmish tend to have 2x the amount, usually in the range of 35-45 HP.
