Etymology

Grounder's Japanese name, Tsubame-gaeshi, means Swallow Reversal/Return, is in direct reference to the technique invented by Sasaki Kojirō. The technique got its name due to the technique mimicking a swallow's tail during flight.

Grounder's effectiveness against Flying Units is due the technique reputedly being so fast and precise, it can cut down a bird mid-flight.
