Heavy Blade (剛剣 Kōken, lit. Steel Blade in the Japanese version) is a Skill in Fire Emblem Fates.

Overview

In Fire Emblem Fates, Heavy Blade provides a flat +3 Strength, though it also reduces the unit's Speed by 1. Heavy Blade is learned by amiibo Ike in his Vanguard class or by obtaining a skill book through DLC.

In Fire Emblem Heroes, Heavy Blade functions to accelerate special triggers as long as the user has a higher Attack than their opponent, with the highest level of the skill providing an extra 5 damage to each attack. It appears as a Type A passive skill which can be learned without inheriting by Ephraim (Dynastic Duo), Ike and Jamke. Of these; only Ephraim (Dynastic Duo) has access to Heavy Blade 4 by default. It also exists as a Sacred Seal.
