Heroic Bloodlines is the eighth chapter of the Scarlet Blaze route of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and the eleventh overall.
Story[]
The Imperial army begins its conquest of western Faerghus by defeating Rodrigue and Baron Mateus. With their sights set on Fhirdiad, they continue eastward toward Brennius territory, where the remaining lords of the western Kingdom rally behind House Dominic, descended from one of the Ten Elites, to mount a last-ditch defense.

Baron Dominic, Annette, and Gustave stand in defiance of the Empire at Brennius Castle, as do Viscount Belinus, Viscount Enid, Count Duval, Count Geraint, and Viscount Brennius himself, preferring to die defending Faerghus than to submit to Edelgard (though Gustave will protect Annette if the Imperial army sneaks into the dungeon instead of attacking Gustave head-on once he reappears inside the castle).
The Imperial army celebrates its victory over the western Kingdom and prepares to march on Blaiddyd territory when they receive a report of an outbreak of revolts in Hrym and Ordelia, territories on the edge of the Airmid River. Hubert suspects the involvement of Those Who Slither in the Dark, and the Empire is forced to hold off its attack to deal with the problem before it spreads to other neighboring lands.
