Hollstadt is the boss of Chapter 16 in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.
Profile[]
Hollstadt guards the entrance to the Altean Castle. Hollstadt is of the General class, and uses both a Killer Lance and a Killer Bow in Shadow Dragon, and drops a Dracoshield when defeated.
Hollstadt is all but stated to be a Subordinate of Camus, the original overseer of Castle Altea until Morzas replaced him when Camus fell out of favor with Dolhr due to his rescue of Nyna. The Mounted units around him are labeled as Sable Order in the SNES version, where Hollstadt's battle animations use a unique Black Palette, implying he is a member of the Sable Order.

Etymology[]
The name "Hollstadt" comes from a municipality in the district of Rhön-Grabfeld in Bavaria in Germany.

- In the Japanese version of Shadow Dragon only, Hollstadt is oddly named Holsard.
- In Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, he is the only boss that uses a Killer Lance in the game.
